This Ambrosius Mother Earth & Seed Baby is a fair trade felted wool figure with Black skin and delicately painted features, elegant brown hair, a long chocolate brown dress with a lovely green pinafore, clutching a cute baby with Black skin in her left arm and a basket on her right. The Mother is wearing a large white hat, and the baby a brown baby grow and an almond coloured headpiece and is perfect for decorating a whimsical nature display table in the spring and summer.

This fair trade decorative figure has been handmade from environmentally friendly wool felt, recycled paper and wire. Non-toxic textile paint has been used to add delicate facial features.

Ambrosius felted dolls are ethically made in Romania by skilled artisans, typically older women and young mothers working from home to support their families and people with disabilities. Profits from the sale of Ambrosius figures also help to fund a Waldorf school in Cluj-Napoca and education for disadvantaged children in rural Transylvania too. Ambrosius fairies are proudly made with love and patience, providing work to the lowest income families in the EU.
